Workshops Now Open for Registrations
SHORT+SWEET Malaysia will be returning for its fourth season! And we’re growing our SHORT+SWEET family in Malaysia once again…
As usual, we’ll be starting off with a whole host of workshops conducted by SHORT+SWEET experts Alex Broun, who will be running the theatre workshops; Micheal Voon for dance; and Llew Marsh and Nick Choo, who will be running the musical theatre workshops.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to familiarise yourself with the whole SHORT+SWEET concept and it’ll give you an early start to prepare for the festival in September / October 2011… do sign up with your friends!

DANCE Workshop with Michael Voon (Studio 2)

(limited to 20 pax per session)
Wear something light and comfy to move in.
* Workshop on 9 Apr and 10 Apr are the same. Participant just need to choose 1 day = RM10 each.

16th Saturday April @ 10am – 1pm: Directing / Acting Level 1
16th Saturday April @ 2pm – 5pm: Playwriting Level 2
17th Sunday April @ 10am – 1pm: Directing / Acting Level 2
17th Sunday April @ 2pm – 5pm: Advanced Playwriting / Directing / Acting
17th Sunday April @ 7pm – 10pm: Public Reading & Showcase
Important note: ALL participants of Advanced Workshop must be available for the Public Reading and Showcase.
Limited to 25 pax per session.
* RM 10 for each level (level 1, 2 & Advanced)
For level 1, RM10 include:
- Writing level 1 (15 Apr, 7-10pm)
- Directing & Acting level 1 (16 Apr, 10am-1pm)
For level 2, RM10 include:
- Writing level 2 (16 Apr, 2-5pm)
- Directing & Acting level 2 (17 Apr, 10am-1pm)
For Advanced, RM10 include:
- Advanced writing, directing & acting (17 Apr, 2pm-5pm)
- Public reading/ Showcase (17 Apr, 7-10pm)

24th Sunday April @ 10am – 2pm: Musical Theatre Performers with Llew
24th Sunday April @ 3.30pm – 7.30pm: Combined Session – Performers / Composers / Lyricists with Nick and Llew
Important note: All participants must be available for the combined workshop on the 24th.
Works can be of any language or dialect.
Limited to 25 pax per session.
