Pentas 1 is the largest auditorium at klpac, it seats seats 504, best for medium to large scaled productions like klpac musicals; accoustically perfect for music concerts, our own ’klpac idol’ ( a showcase of talented musicians, vocal artists’ of all ages happens on our klpac open day); product launches, screenings; the possibilities are endless. The Pentas 1 foyer consists of a bar area, that holds approx 300- 350 pax standing; a merchandise counter, dressing rooms which ajoins the green room and a production room with wired internet access .

The stage of Pentas 1 is designed in the semi-proscenium style. The structural proscenium opening is 14000mm wide and 7680mm high. There is a variable proscenium panel that is capable of adjusting the proscenium opening from a height of 7680mm to 5680mm. The stage depth, from the proscenium opening to the cyclorama is approximately 8500 mm, and from the front end of the apron area to proscenium opening is approximately 5000 mm. Also note, the stage floor is levelled with the first row of audience.
