The Platform 2008 culminated in the well-received production 'The One Thing I Don't Have Right Now' in 2009. The team behind the production suffered greatly from post-production syndrome after the final show and longed to keep the adrenaline inspired by The Platform coursing through their veins. Fast-forward a few months and that very same team is now helping The Platform 2010 as a means to bring the same wonderful experiences to another generation of performers.
The Platform is basically an open mic for theatre featuring new talent and original works that have not been staged before. The 2010 season comprises 6 nights which take place on the first Monday of each month from February to July and showcases up to 6 performances in the drama, theatre or physical theatre genres each night.
This year, the age requirement has been lowered to 16!
