Malaysia Century Chinese Orchestra (MCCO), formerly known as PCCO, will be having two days season opening concerts at The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac) in April 2017.

The concert, under the baton of Resident Conductor Chong Koi Min, presents a Chinese classic, A Moonlit Night on the Spring River which originally a Pipa solo that has been popular in China since the Ming Dynasty, in a modern Chinese orchestra arrangement and together with Low Wei Kuok, who were twice gold award recipients for national instrumental competition in 2013 and 2015 will be performing Dizi concerto An Eagle’s Affection, follow by talented local young pianist Jeremy Yeo in an emotively overwhelming rendition of Yellow River Piano Concerto.

The orchestra will also showcase Symphony No.2 “Ode to Peace” by renowned composer Zhao Ji Ping, towards a transformative anti-fascism.
