Teenage Dream is a double bill based on stories of the 2018 ensemble.

The first play BECOMING UDA is a reimagining of a forbidden love story. When their teacher is unable to attend class, the students of 5 Chempaka are left to their own devices. Mayhem, music, madness and love ensue. What happens when a boy finds himself in a forbidden love? Will his classmates accept him for who he is?

The second play LANUN BERLAPAN explores how our inherited bodies can make us who we are – our physical insecurities, our physical scars.

Follow the 8 lanuns as they travel the seas to find love, redemption, and self.

TEENAGE DREAM will end in a contemporary dance piece titled UTARA, choreographed by Zhafir Muzani.

Directed by Ho Lee Ching and Mark Beau de Silva
