Anime and manga fans are in for a treat as they will be able to hear the soundtrack of their favourite anime performed live on stage very soon. From 27 to 28 May only, the 55-strong klpac Symphonic Band will be bringing to life some of the most recognised Japanese tunes in Salam Konnichiwa under the baton of Cheryl Mah.
As 2017 marks the 60th anniversary of Malaysia-Japan Diplomatic Relations, klpac Symphonic Band celebrates six decades of friendship between the two countries with an array of Japanese songs and music that have long been culturally influenced on our nation. All specially chosen for this occasion, we unfold the world of Japanese Pop Culture, particularly on manga, anime, video games, and J-Pop. Join us and cosplay with your favourite character on “Salam Konnichiwa” this May!
