Covid-19 Emergency Relief Fund
URGENT FUNDS NEEDED: We are undergoing our third closure as cases continue to climb in Malaysia. klpac and The Actors Studio’s losses already exceeds RM2m and our staff has undergone a pay cut of up to 60% with the prospect of being switched over to contract staff soon.
According to the National Recovery Plan, recording / filming will only be allowed in Phase 3 and we will only be able to fully reopen in Phase 4 which could be some time end 2021. We are currently lobbying to fast-track vaccination for artistes & arts workers and for us to be allowed to resume recording / filming earlier. Read our Open Letter dated 8 July here.
