Box Office / Front-of-House Executive

klpac’s Theatre Management Department is recruiting new team member.

  • Some experience in the production is an asset.

Box Office

  • To provide all walk-in or call-in patrons a positive first impression of klpac by offering superior and individualized customer service
  • Accurately operate the computer ticketing system to sell tickets.
  • To equip and to provide information regarding klpac and The Actors Studio’s production or any other general enquiries pertaining to the venue.
  • Assist with miscellaneous box office projects as directed.
  • To assist other department when the need arises and to ensure good working relationship with all other departments.


  • To ensure all Production Promotional Materials i.e. Postcards, Posters, Flyers, Magazines etc are updated, presentable, in the appropriate areas and sufficient at the Box Office, Public Foyer Areas and Academy.
  • To walk around the complex daily to ensure all utilities are in good working condition i.e. lighting, air conditioning, building finishings, seating, aisle lighting etc. If utilities and facilities are not working or damaged, to ensure that it is reported to maintenance and rectified immediately.
  • Due to energy saving exercises, to walk around the complex frequently to ensure that only specific utilities are switched on or off, when required.
  • To work closely with the Security Department to ensure that no visitors or patrons without authorization are allowed into the back-of-house areas.
  • To ensure that Pentas 1 & 2 front entrance doors are secure at all times unless to be used during show time or for specific purposes.
  • To attend and answer courteously to queries by walk-in visitors. To conduct study-tour for student group.
  • To liaise with the cleaners to ensure that all Public Areas are presentable and tidy i.e. Main Foyer, Pentas 1 & 2 Pre-function Foyers, Public Toilets, Suraus, Emergency Stairs and all public corridors.
  • To respond and provide First Aid in case of injuries / accidents / emergencies.
  • To assist other departments in any official matters as and when deemed necessary.
  • To manage lost and found enquiries.
  • To write minutes and notes of discussion of Theatre Management meeting.
  • To lead the Front of House team for all klpac’s production.
