The Basque Country is a region located in the north of the Iberian Peninsula, extending across both sides of the border between Spain and France. It is a unique land with an impressive cultural richness: a carefully preserved folk music tradition, powerful and striking traditional dances, and a millennia-old language found nowhere else in the world—Basque (Euskera)—which has no roots in Latin culture or in the surrounding languages.

Through some representative works of its culture, participants will discover the distinctive sound of its language, explore its beautiful landscapes, and enjoy its joyful and welcoming spirit with renowned composer and conductor, Josu Elberdin.
