SHORT+SWEET Malaysia turns 15 this year!

Part of the global festival brand and the BIGGEST little festival in the world, SHORT+SWEET Malaysia is proud to have premiered more than 1,000 new works and showcased an astonishing 5,351 emerging and established talents on stage.

SHORT+SWEET Malaysia 2022 is set to feature over 60 works in six genres – Film, Stand-Up Comedy & Song, Musical, Theatre and Dance.

The 2022 season kicked off with SHORT+SWEET Film where 10 original short films were screened in person at klpac. Now, you can enjoy the films online via CloudRevive, an on-demand / pay-per-view service, from 3 to 14 October 2022.

Not only will audiences be the first to view the creation (only new works are accepted), each work must be under 10 minutes.

Check out this new collection of films by amazing filmmakers Wong King Wai, Jared Wee, Tesh Chaal, Douglas Philip Labadin, Jit Chaal and production teams like Causality Protocol Production, Raven Production, his reservations, KELAB BUDAK FILEM and DEC KPMSI.

klpac & TAS’ losses due to Covid-19 have exceeded RM2 million and its venue has been deprived of audiences for 377 days. It requires a minimum of RM130,000 per month to stay afloat.
